I have to work
8 hours at my office job
And then immediately go to the mall
And work
5 hours at my retail job
Then tomorrow
I have an opening shift
For another 7 hours

no u know what i’m MAD because some of u sons a BITCHES are sleeping on my man lucas and although he was a complete ass in the beginning of s1 he had a BEAUT character development .
A scared 11 year old who was worried that he was a) losing his best friend to a girl his friend had known for 5 minutes and b) thought said girl was incredibly dangerous and not be trusted and c) was kind of right to be wary of el in the first place but has being nothing but vilified for his very understandable fear and panic?
And he was a complete ass?

So…why is Eleven allowed to be a dick to Max then?
I don’t see the connection at all?
Also she’s not ALLOWED to be a dick, no one is ever allowed be. But it’s UNDERSTANDABLE given the traumatic events of ENTIRE LIFE that her emotional growth and maturity is somewhat stunted. Eleven often acts in a more childish way than usual, throwing tantrums and reacting with violence when upset. That’s because violence is all she knows, and when she’s upset she doesn’t have the tools to process it in a healthy way. It’s not OKAY and it doesn’t excuse her hurting max, but it makes us able to understand WHY she acts this way.
I personally hope the show goes into her learning how to deal with these emotions, including all of the trauma she’s experienced, in a healthy way and having someone to talk to and go to with everything that happened. I hope she heals and grows and along the way, learns that max can be a great friend.

Still working on the outline of my novel. I wanted to have that nailed down by end of October but oh well. I’ve decided to work on my witches one, it’s more manageable. I think I figured out the overarching plot and how they defeat the big bad so that’s good, now it’s just a matter of nailing down all of the plot points that lead up to it.
